We booked a 2 night stay here to celebrate my wife's birthday , we wanted a relaxing weekend and the white horse seemed to offer what we were looking for . Right from check-in i realised we had definitely picked the right place . We received a warm and friendly welcome and were shown to our room . We picked a junior suit and there was nothing junior about it. We found it big , bright and offered everything we wanted . Very clean and well presented. Staff at the white horse are fantastic, ...

all the bedrooms are in a separate wing which meant there was very little noise from the pub area.

A little gem, easy to get to and staff very helpful and pleasant. 2nd time staying g and will use again

Stayed here for a wedding as a family of four. Very nice room, a little bit on the expensive side but weighing up a taxi home 40 miles and breakfast it worked out about the same. Breakfast was very good. The drinks at the bar were a bit on the expensive side at £8 a pint but what can you do

This is our 2nd trip to this fabulous pub/hotel I always sleep so well here. We eat in the Restaurant and go with The Chefs Menu as we love Marks' food choice. Highlight dish of this trip was the Halibut.

Very nice hotel. The staff were excellent. Check in and out is really easy. The restaurant is excellent. Would definitely stay there again.

Cottage was very clean and spacious with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable living area. Hot tub was wonderful with amazing views - the towels, sliders and robes were a nice touch. Would highly recommend

Property is self catering house at edge of the town. Spacious and decent kitchen. Road quiet (liked that) and easy access to nature reserve/countryside walks. Parking a bit of an issue but didn’t detract from our stay.

Lovely little cottage in a beautiful setting. Great walks around. Bed comfortable and lovely warm shower. The welcome package was very helpful as I arrived late on Sunday and forgot the English shops closed early!

The cleanliness, especially at this time, the attention and politeness you get from the staff and the peacefulness of the area it is set in.

Perfect in every way, great location lovely gardens rooms were spacious and spotless and the continental breakfast was plentifull. The hosts live on the site and Kerry made us feel very welcome on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended and look forward to staying again very soon.
