Very bad service
1st impression. No one to greet at arrival. There was only one thin guy who addresses guest by "yeah, what u want? Bad language and attitude. Shocking. No basic manners. Then the rest is history. The ambience. The staffs carry the same attitude. In the Room, there is No basic toiletries like dental kit and room slippers and even tissue box provided. When called housekeeping they said rudely its only provided upon request. In the bathroom, the tap is 30cm above the sink which is plate shaped which causes water to splash on us whenever we try to wash hands. Never seen such a design in any hotels we stayed so far. Breakfast - most importantly guests must understand that this hotel is a vegetarian hotel. There is not even egg provided during breakfast. Very limited bfast options. I would never recommend anyone to tbis hotel.

First of all the breakfast is very helpful. You can just come down and have the breakfast without stepping out and wanting to figure out where to go. So, you might want to buy the breakfast package. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There was construction going on in the area when I was there, but nothing within the hotel. Also, the hotel is attached to a mall, so you can just walk to the mall to get your lunch. I was working remotely so this helped me immensely. There are always autos or tuk-tuks waiting outside the hotel for travel, if you need.

E Hotel is excellent
This is the 1st time to India for both me and my wife. Staff at E Hotel Chennai were very friendly and helpful. I would like to make a special mention of Assistant Security Officer Mr R. Arumugam. The credit on my mobile ran out while on a very important call, and it cutout. Mr Arumugam was kind enough to give me his personal mobile to make my call. Not only that, I also made a booking for a taxi i found online and told the taxi service we're a group of 4 people plus 8 luggages for a trip from E Hotel to international airport but the taxi company wrongly sent me a small hatchback with a small boot. Even though this taxi company had no affiliation with E Hotel nor Mr Arumugam whatsoever, nevertheless Mr Arumugam still spoke to the manager of the taxi company on our behalf to fix this big mistake this independent taxi company made. As a result, finally the taxi company admitted their fault and arranged 2nd taxi at no extra charge, thanks to Mr Arumugam's help. Mr Arumugam went well above and beyond the call of duty to assist us. Also thank you to E Hotel staff Kiran and Soiman for your assistance during our stay.

Excellent hotel beside an aowsome mall. A slight glitch left us without a dhuttle from the airport to the hotel. Howeve the duty manager waited for us at the driveway and was so appologitic. Rooms were spacious and clean with seperste shower and wc. Overall very satisfief with my stay

Checking out hours
All was perfect accept the checking out hours. It would be 100% awesome if the hotel allowed 24hrs check out as most tourists would take the night flight back to their home country. I had to pay 1 day's extra charge to check out at 11pm. This makes me think twice about booking E-hotel in future.

Comfy, if you're visiting the US Visa consulate. I got a room in the 8th floor. There is a mall attached, so there's nothing to worry about food. Opt-in to their breakfast option. It's worth it. You can leave your luggage behind till the end of the day if you've to check-out early but still need to be in the city.

Extremely friendly and Great staff, especially Lavanya, Solomon and the travel desk guy. Rooms are good but shows signs of aging. No iron facility. That’s probably the only drawback I could find. They allowed me an early check in and a few free print outs.

Great Hotel and Staff, My First Choice in Chennai
This is not my first time at E Hotel and it certainly won't be the last. I love this cozy, modern hotel. The food is sooooo good! I am a vegetarian so their menu is perfect for me. Location wise, one couldn't ask for anything more. You are so close to everything and within the mall itself, so you can find everything to suit your whim. The staff is always very friendly and professional, and certainly willing to help. The beds are very comfortable and the room is perfectly clean and the right size. Only thing is that the night I arrived there was no hot water but I was so tired, I didn't even let them know. The next morning everything was working perfectly. I am definitely coming back very soon!
