This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed. The flat is immaculate and beautifully furnished giving a really cosy Cotswold cottage feel. Split across two levels is does have a cottage/house feeling. I had a great stay of 3 nights and would definitely like to return at some point. I'm currently thinking up ways I can re-create the feel in my London flat! There is no parking spot with the flat but I was advised which streets had free parking prior to arriving and one of them is accessible just across the road, down a small alley a few minutes walk away so this was not a problem. The entrance steps and internal stairs are fairly steep which is all part of the Cotswolds character and appeal but may be challenging if you have certain mobility issues. ---
