"The apartement is really close (2 min) to the Planpraz gondola. I cannot think of a closer place to the ski area. A short walk (less than 10min) leads to the center of Chamonix with all the shops, bars and restaurant. The kitchen is fully equipped. Lovely place, great hospitality and flexibility. ..."

Yes the walls and windows are not fully soundproof and there are lots of restaurants around with noise, but the hotel provides earplugs in your room. The view of the mountains from the room & terraces was spectacular. The spa area was a calming santuary surrounded by trees nature & mountain views to enjoy. The the terrace to eat breakfast in a morning was a lovely place to sit & enjoy views of Mount Blanc & Aguille du Midi. The bar area was well thought out & makes the most of the light with floor to ceiling window opening onto the terrace. The location to Chamonix & Aguille du Midi cable car is an easy 5-7 minutes walk. The decor in room could do with reviewing, it appeared dark no matter what time of day. Good for black out at night. But very dark for seeing during the day. Prehaps better lighting in the rooms & shade lighter on the walls may help. Staff were friendly & professional. The housekeeping is good. Breakfast was really good with a varitey of meats, cheeses, pastries, crepes, baguette,fruit, nuts, yoguart & hot cooked breakfast. The aspect of the hotel captures the most breathtaking views of Mont Blanc. The spa/ pool area captures full sun all day long. We had the most enjoyable stay.
