"Have been staying at the Plaza a few years now and its always been my favorite. It's quiet, the scenery is gorgeous, it's clean and the staff is great. The restaurant inside is not that great but everything else is. "

"Every staff seemed to be really hardworking, especially the breakfast crew. Very often hotels have just one person handling everything but not this one. They kept keen eyes on what needed refills and were really quick about it. This place also had real plates, utensils, mugs and cups-not the usual flimsy paper plates and plastic forks. That means a lot more cleaning for staff, but much better feeling for guests (at least, me and my family). Well exceeded my expectations!"

"Stargazer Inn was the perfect spot for us to enjoy the Monterey area and Big Sur. Really comfortable beds, clean rooms and thoughtful touches throughout. Would highly recommend to others looking for a spot to stay in Monterey!"
