"Staff were all lovely! Locals also very nice, real friendly village feel in the bar. Food was good and lovely little garden to sit out the back and escape the heat! Rooms were basic but did the job for our one night stay. Saw some photos online before going that worried us but room and bathroom and all public spaces very clean so don’t be put off! "

"The Ailim house was truly one of the best places I have ever stayed. The cottage itself is beautiful, has all the conveniences needed, is comfortable, and perfectly accessible to St Andrews. The hosts are lovely people who went above and beyond to make our stay the best ever. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Steadings! Was a random find on hotels.com and we’re so glad we found it! Really good price for the time of year (December) - we booked in May (roughly). It was decorated for Christmas, and had everything we needed. A rare find but total treat! Would definitely come back and recommend! The only negatives would be the hottub not being covered - this is due to be rectified! And the road down to the lodge is very bumpy - a typical farm road! Make sure you follow...
