"We absolutely loved our stay at the Steadings! Was a random find on hotels.com and we’re so glad we found it! Really good price for the time of year (December) - we booked in May (roughly). It was decorated for Christmas, and had everything we needed. A rare find but total treat! Would definitely come back and recommend! The only negatives would be the hottub not being covered - this is due to be rectified! And the road down to the lodge is very bumpy - a typical farm road! Make sure you follow...

"Jenni and Mark are excellent hosts! Accommodations we're fantastic there were real American size king size beds in the rooms not the usual Scottish/ Irish little tiny king beds. The bathrooms were very modern the room was spacious the breakfast was fabulous they pretty much cook you anything you want from a full Scottish breakfast with eggs and ham and sausage and haggis to all kinds of pastries and cold cereals. They gave excellent recommendations for dinner in the area that were very walkable....

"It's a student hall of residence so amenities and decor are very basic as expected, but you can't complain for the price, especially in the centre of St. Andrews in high season! A bargain really. Minor gripes - the shared bathroom(s) have very loud electric hand dryers that sound like a vacuum cleaner and can be heard several rooms away.. The lights in the corridors and bathrooms are extremely bright, in the blueish spectrum and permanently on, so not conducive to maintaining melatonin levels if...

"Absolutely beautiful stay. The lodge itself was gorgeous, in a great setting and the views are spectacular. Quiet and peaceful, no disturbance whatsoever. The surroundings are just spectacular. "Accommodation was perfect, roomy, cosy and welcoming right on Cellardyke harbour with beautiful views. A little beach right across the road and park around the corner perfect for our 8 year old daughter. Comfy, cosy beds and spacious lounge with fire stick so great for watching family movies at night. We would definitely come back!"
