Great place to stay friendly and food lovely one minor issue was the heavinesses of the duvet too hot for conditions as we had good weather

The room was spotless and staff were excellent. Restaurant great for dinner and breakfast. First class place to stay.

The property location is stunning right on the Elie Beach. Staff were excellent and friendly and the food was fabulous. Will definitely return.

Amazing

The house is situated on a hill overlooking Carnoustie. It is very nicely decorated and well maintained. We had a twin room on the top floor. It was well laid out. The beds were very comfortable. The ensuite had a larger shower cubicle than average. Breakfast was very nice, with good quality ingredients. Lisa was a very good host, welcoming and full of useful information

Lovely place to stay over Christmas. Can’t believe that cleaners came to tidy in Christmas Day. Beautiful apartment. Bedrooms amazing

Excellent stay. Lovely farmland around the property. Easy to access lots or villages on the coast.

The hotel was well set up and modern. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent.

We received such a warm welcome at The Boars Head. It felt like everything in the room was really high spec. Loved that we had a stocked fridge (you had to pay for most items, though!) with free milk and a free dram each, too! A espresso machine with good choice of coffees and tea bags. The decor was beautiful, the shower was powerful. The toiletries smelt wonderful - always good to get conditioner supplied, too - A marker of a good quality hotel, in my opinion! The staff are exceptionally good and friendly

Having stayed at the Hotel over the years we were aware,this time that the dining arrangements are now so expensive as to make one of the restaurants not somewhere we would wish to eat . Other than that the hotel is still somewhere we would happily recommend for position, comfort and the amazing staff

Fantastic room and service, well presented and adapted to the government’s pandemic guidelines. Jessica was incredibly welcoming and clearly loves her work. We just wish we’d stayed longer.

Lovely stay above a pub, music went on until midnight however the band were pretty good and we didn’t mind! We had stunning views across the harbour from our room. Comfy bed, nice breakfast!

The room we had was very clean and spacious . Tea and coffee was also available in the room . We ate in the restaurant at night and food was delicious . Breakfast was included in the price and was substantial . The staff went out of their way to be helpful . Overall a very pleasant stay
