Cave Creek Holidays from £1,917

Just back from a stay in July. Hotel has been recently renovated and kept clean. Bedrooms are a good size. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast area is small but always enough to eat. Nice pool area too. Would stay again.

Rooms were very spacious. Had everything you needed in the kitchen. Very Clean. Staff was very helpful and polite. Pool amenities were really nice to have cookouts. Really enjoyed my stay

Staff was exceptional!

We have been coming since the 1990’s. It honestly feels like our second home. Staff is friendly and efficient. Restaurant, The Splash, has great food. I do wish the daily activities for kids were more interesting. I know they recently changed staff for that position, but current activity “director” doesn’t seem very interested and dresses unprofessional. She’s young and may not be trained well. I’m sure she is very nice and kind though.

Room not ready at check-in. Said they would text, hour and a half later after no word waited back in registration line again. Told they texted an hour ago, was my fault, that my phone settings must be wrong (whatever that means). Pillows on bed were the worst we’ve ever used, flat and somehow still lumpy. At 10:30 fire alarm goes off saying to evacuate. NO staff around directing or doing anything. Went to concierge who informed us “ya, this happens all of the time”. After an hour and fifteen wait on the floor we were told “we can go back up now if we choose to”. You would think at the minimum they would have a system for dealing with this and start informing people what is happening, especially if it happens “all the time”. They are more concerned with manpower keeping the casino running the entire time than helping hotel guests. I have stayed here at least a dozen times over the years and have looked past the overpriced drinks and horrible restaurant food but I will not be returning, and I doubt Talking Stick could care less.
