"Really nice place with very centric location. Outside the building could use an update. It was a little difficult to find, also on a first floor, so consider stairs, but staff helped with luggage. Breakfast was delicious. We got an upgrade. Overall a really pleasant stay."

Room was as expected, bed was comfortable as you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Bathroom was large as well and had the hotel branded goods. For the breakfast area, there was an option to sit outside, which was pleasant. Plenty of options as well and the staff where ready at hand to address any requests.
We used Catania as base to explore the surrounding sites, but the city itself was larger than I thought and had some interesting things to see. The cathedral and main shopping street are...

Excellent throughout. Close enough to enjoy the city center (15mins by car) and beach (20mins by car), without getting caught up in the hustle and bustle of crowds.
Exceptional staff, both caring and informative.

This hotel is a little gem in the middle of Catania. The staff are professional, helpful and made us feel special.
Hotel has interesting modern design, our room was huge.
Breakfast was excellent.
It maybe difficult to find it at first, our recommendation is to go to the exact address: #29.
Thank you for making our stay in Catania so special.

We stayed here at the end of our Sicilian trip and used it as a base for both the north and south approach to Etna. It was just the bit of luxury we needed. The hotel really is perched on the edge of the cliff with moth a large pool (looking out to sea) and steps in to the sea complete with sea front solarium.
The rooms have everything you need, the standard is fairly basic but does the job the classic is that little bit more comfortable ( we were upgraded part was through the stay due to...

Stayed at this B&B from 22/05/2025 to 26/05/2025. Very clean, secure and quiet. Very warm, accommodating and friendly host. B&B has a home from home feel. Host was very helpful with what to do and where to go. Arrange transport and transfers, even got to borrow her umbrella of which I lost ! Missed times for breakfast but she still went out her way to make sure we did. She checked in with us daily and regularly. I will definitely recommend staying here. Thank you so much Ivana.

Six of us arrived on Sunday 21st Sept. We had a very patient, polite receptionist who checked us in, gave us maps marking the best and most pleasing way (through Bellini Park) into the centre as well as the shortest and also the architectural area of the city. Catena is a World Heritage Site.

I ended up being stranded due to the airport closure. I booked my hotel on Expedia in a rush at the airport and when I arrived it turned out I book it for October. The staff were wonderful and accommodated me as they could see I was in stressed safe. I then had to extend my stay as the airport was closed another day, I changed my room to a suite and the suite was incredible, totally amazing and was glad I got to experience it
The staff made my stay so compassionate and understanding. Thank you...

10 out of 10 experience, my only advice is for the hotel to start modernise the interior before it gets to the point were people feel it is an outdated hotel.
I would retouch the rooms with some plaster and withe paint, and change the carpets that look have been layed 40 years ago.
I would have expected a fine dining experience at the restaurant, instead I found QR code rather than a good old and timeless paper menu, and please do not serve condiments in a light blue plastic container, it...

The location of the hotel was excellent. All the main areas are within walking distance. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Their restaurant recommendations were exceptional. The room had good air conditioning and was very spacious (we had a quandruple room/suite which had 2 modern bathrooms). There were complimentary toiletries each day, the room had a mini fridge to store drinks. The breakfasts were very good with a good selection of continental items plus great coffee
