"Such a wonderful stay! My husband and I had a great honeymoon in the Algarve and this hotel was phenomenal! The staff were so kind and helpful! The food was amazing! The view we had was stunning! When we come back to the Algarve, we will stay here again! Thank you to the staff for all your hard work and wonderful hospitality"

"Really stunning property, clean, relaxing, family friendly and amazing sea views from the balcony and roof terrace. Very spacious, the photos don't do it justice! Stayed mid August and did not feel too busy around the pool, in a lovely location 10/15 mins walk into the main town of Carvoeiro and beach. Brilliant location for exploring the Algar Seco rocks. 30 mins drive to Zoo Marine and plenty of boat trips on offer. Very nice restaurants a 5 mins walk away. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Cleaning 5 times a week which was great. We would love to come back again as it was a wonderful experience."

"Absolutely outstanding villa. The villa was spotless and truly cared for. The hosts and the whole team ‘Casa do Barao’ were incredible, from excellent communication to being able to contact at any given time before and during our wonderful stay. The air conditioning was a welcome relief from the scorching sun when retiring from a busy day in the pool or from just relaxing on the plentiful sun lounges and garden seating during the evening and throughout the day! The gardens at the villa are stunning and well cared for due to the meticulous care and love the adorable gardener has for the grounds. He worked so hard to keep the grounds immaculate. The kitchen was fully equipped and had home from home comforts. The safety gates around the pool and at the top and bottom of the stairs in the main villa, gave us all a stress free holiday! The walk to the town was a daily trip, those who didn’t want to walk the steep hill on return from the town were able to to get a taxi at a total cost of roughly 5 euros, even in a 9 seater! We were a party of 13 ranging from ages 5 to 66! The hosts thought of everything to make our stay perfect. Special treasured memories were created. Thank you so much team ‘Casa do Barao’, with best wishes always Anne, Lee and our lovely family. "

"Very good hotel , decent location 10 minutes walk to town centre/beach . Excellent pool and poolside bar , food and drink good and great value . Breakfast was pretty decent plenty choice and always refreshed promptly."

"Stayed here for 5 nights start of August. My first impression was very friendly and informative - he joked booking for 2 adults and 15 kids - had visions I'd left 15 kids at the airport lol! Room very clean. Maid service daily and would find your pjs folded under your pillow. Gardens and swimming pool were very well maintained and clean. Hotel was fully booked but zero sunbed wars!! Could come down at any time and sun beds always available. Very peaceful and quiet around the pool. If you want blasting music and entertainment the hotel probably wouldn't be for you. Selection of breakfast very good - the only fault I would have is the hot food wasn't overly hot. Breakfast variety was changed daily. All the staff were very professional and friendly. There is a steep hill to climb on way back to hotel but the walk down and up was perfectly manageable. Walk was under 15 minutes to the beach. Got an uber back during the days heat which was under 5 euros. The walk took you through residential area - very safe and nice to see typical Portuguese homes. I would definitely recommend this hotel and if going back to the area would stay again. They are accommodating with check out time - we had our room for an extra couple of hours at no charge. Well done to all the team at the hotel you all wotk hard with a smile on your face!"

"This is a really lovely villa. Perfect for families. Beautiful pool. There is everything you need nearby - small supermarket, 3 good restaurants. Local taxi services very good so if not hiring a car easy to arrange transport to Caraveiro and other locations. Highly recommend a visit to Zoomarine. We are already planning a return visit."
