"Lovely hotel, friendly staff and good sized rooms. However there was broken glass on the balcony, the bunkbeds for the children wobbled ridiculous everytime one of them moved and then in the morning my son found someone else’s socks under his pillow so clearly they hadn’t changed the beds from the last guests. I cannot believe a hotel can do that. It’s a real shame as the feel of the hotel was nice and it is in a beautiful location."

"What a location, what a beautiful cottage. If you have dogs, love walks, enjoy the beach and seclusion this is the place to go. Special mention to the Borgue Hotel for their hospitality also and amazing food!"

"Hotel very run down, maintenance non existent. Cobwebs hanging from ceiling above bed. Dust everywhere, unable to see out of windows so dirty. Crack in bathroom sink, bath stained and dirty. One bed was stained terrible down the side. On the up breakfast was lovely but tables very sticky so crockery sticking. Apparently this hotel was/is used for homeless people?"

"There were 9 of us and a dog. The most important aspect of this house was that it was large and had lots of spaces where people could break out into. Whilst the house was a little tired and needed some maintenance, it was perfect for what we needed for our stay.The kitchen is bigger than the photos and was perfect as we cooked most nights. The dining area was a great place where we could all sit around the large table easily. There was a pool/utility room although the small pool table was wonky with broken cushions so nobody knew where their balls were going. The room with the TV and console in was a great idea, however all of the games were for an Xbox and it was a Playstation! There were plenty of board games.The bedrooms were spacious and the linen was clean.The house was lovely and warm too when it was cold outside.It was nice to have the hotel nearby as the kids loved the swimming pool which was bigger than we expected. They also found a full sized pool table and snooker table (which they wished they'd found earlier!).All in all a great stay and would definitely recommend for large groups."
