"This is a lovely place to stay. The Cornmill is right down by the shore of the Cree estuary and Garlieston is a fabulous old village with the Harbour Inn providing good food (advisable to book, though, as our landlady kindly told us). Lovely walks, bike rides and places of historical interest in the vicinity. "Our room was large and extremely comfortable with the bonus of a sofa to sit on and a view out over the river. We were lucky enough to get a brief sunset over the river on the first night.
