Lilli Pad has had a recent remodel including a second story addition which includes two upstairs bedrooms with a private primary bedroom suite. Living Space As you step inside, a warm and inviting entryway greets you, setting the tone for your stay. The comfortable living room beckons with its cozy seating area, perfect for engaging conversations by the gentle glow of the gas fireplace. The adjacent media room is designed for relaxation and entertainment. It features additional seating, including a full/double sofa sleeper, along with a TV for your enjoyment. Whether you're unwinding after a long day or gathering with friends and family, this space is sure to make you feel right at home. Kitchen and Dining This fully-equipped kitchen invites you to unleash your culinary creativity and prepare delightful meals to savor together. When the chef deserves a night off, you'll find a wonderful array of dining options just a short drive away. A convenient space for the washer and dryer is located near the kitchen. Bedrooms and Bathrooms All 4 bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. Bedroom #1 is located upstairs. It is a primary suite with a King bed and an en suite bathroom with a shower, and a sitting area. This bedroom has direct access to a large rooftop deck with seating. Also upstairs is Bedroom #2 which has a Queen bed and an en suite bathroom with a shower-over-tub combination. The other two bedrooms are on the ground floor. Bedroom #3 has a Queen bed and an en suite bathroom with a shower. Bedroom #4 has a Queen bed and an en suite bathroom with a shower. Off-street parking is available in the driveway for 2-4 vehicles. Carmel is a famously dog-friendly town and this is a dog-friendly home with a built-in doggie door and a fenced yard. (Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.) Please note that due to the location of this home, cell service and WiFi is limited. We were so impressed with the beauty of the gardens, and the structure of the house, which had windows that let the outside in - always looking at beauty! The large dining and kitchen area was a dream, and each bedroom/bathroom was well appointed. Every convenience was available, and we felt so spoiled there. Being able to bring along our dogs made it really nice as well. The pictures really don't do this place justice!. We had a fabulous time with 6 adults and 2 dogs, and never felt cramped. We walked to downtown many times, just be prepared for a little uphill on the way back. The staff at Sanctuary Vacation Rentals made everything really easy and they were very accommodating. I liked being able to call prior to our trip to discuss any questions, and when we asked for something nice to have (extra wine glasses), they had them sent over very quickly. Reviewer Comments: We were very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfortable design of this home. It was a great location, quiet and town was only a 10-15 minute walk. Only issue we had was that ALL mini-split heating and air conditioning units have to be set to the same mode (heat, or a/c) in order for any of them to function. We did this, but could not get the heat to work while we were there. So, if you stay here, make sure you inquire about, and understand the heat and a/c and how they work. I'm sure the host would have addressed this immediately had we asked, but it was not very cold, or hot when we were there so we just dealt with no heat. The shower heads also are extremely "green" and very little water comes out and that is a bit frustrating, but this is common at many places, especially in CA.
