The friendliness of the staff and the beautiful sea view was the highlight. The place it's self is beautiful and gives off a tranquil aura.the bathroom could be a bit cleaner with maybe some bathroom essentials in it. Otherwise a perfect break away from hime

I booked the Superior Sea Room that included breakfast just to be told by the staff after sitting down for breakfast according to their list I chose the self-catering option. As a Gold member I also got a good discount and it was supposedly a VIP property. I contacted the the managing agent via WhatsApp and even after sending him screenshots to show that if I should make another booking that it showed that free breakfast was included. His reaction was that he only looks on the Nightbridge platform. He claimed that he has never seen the Hotels.com offering before. I advised him that he should contact Hotels.com and correct the advertisement. checked now (84 days later). Free breakfast is still offered. In the end I was then offered ONE breakfast - Question - who eats and who goes hungry??? Basic room maintenance is also lacking. PS. I did a review on Google that includes a part of our WhatsApp conversation that cant be posted here.

Lovely Guesthouse, will stay again

Lovely Guesthouse, meters away from the Beach. Needs some maintenance especially in the bathroom, but this is really minimal. Lovely breakfast. Friendly people.

Melkbosstrand Hospitality

It was disappointing to arrive and find that the Sea View room we had been promised had been given to someone else. The room we were moved to was clean and comfortable. The bedside lamp didn't work.& I forgot to ask the person cleaning the room to report it. The owner was very friendly and accommodating offering us access to the small apartment area so we had more space. We were within walking distance to good restaurants, the beach & had ample parking area. We would certainly recommend this property to friends.
