"The place was good with basic furnishings. Scandi means Ikea. Internet worked well. It was well located in the centre of Linlithgow which is close to Edinburgh and a lovely town. Lovely views of the loch and quiet. We received a couple of detailed, lovely and welcoming automated messages upon booking asking for our arrival and departure times to help with flexible check in or out. We were then very disappointed with the lack of hospitality from the host when we asked about flexible check out...

When I tried to contact the owner it took 4 days to get an answer, despite me using the numbers provided. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would definitely stay in the top apartment next time."

The kitchen was well stocked, and hosts provided some basic foods for breakfast (coffee, eggs, bread and juice) . Stirling and Doune castles are a must. Not suitable for people with mobility problems, as there are quite a few stairs."
