About this property

Bright, cosy lower floor flat in Victorian listed villa

  • Stairs lead from the garden to your front door, from which you enter a spacious hallway with a desk and reading area. There are two large bedrooms one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. Décor throughout is fresh and the furnishing are a mixture of contemporary and vintage items. The living room is bright and airy with an adjacent dining area. The kitchen and bathroom have been recently upgraded to a very high standard. There is a small, stepped garden and private terrace attached to the main house garden area, for your exclusive use.
The proprietor Jane, lives in the main house with Ivy, a small friendly dog, and Jane is always happy to help. There is plenty of on street safe parking immediately outside the flat in this quiet, leafy residential area, a few minutes walk from the shops and amenities of the historic village of Bridge of Allan. The village is situated 3 miles from Stirling with easy access to the M9 and M8 motorways and the Trossachs National Park. Bridge of Allan has a railway station and there are regular trains to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth. Stirling university campus is a 10 minute walk away and there are splendid views of the Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle from the main house
