Stairs lead from the garden to your front door, from which you enter a spacious hallway with a desk and reading area. There are two large bedrooms one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. Décor throughout is fresh and the furnishing are a mixture of contemporary and vintage items. The living room is bright and airy with an adjacent dining area. The kitchen and bathroom have been recently upgraded to a very high standard. There is a small, stepped garden and private terrace attached to the main house garden area, for your exclusive use.
The proprietors, Jane and James, live in the main house and are always happy to help. There is plenty of safe parking immediately outside the flat in this quiet, leafy residential area, a few minutes walk from the shops and amenities of the historic village of Bridge of Allan. The village is situated 3 miles from Stirling with easy access to the M9 and M8 motorways and the Trossachs National Park. Bridge of Allan has a railway station and there are regular trains to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth. Stirling university campus is a 10 minute walk away and there are splendid views of the Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle from the main house.
