Property conditions & facilities

4/5 Good

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
It was lovely to have a private area of the garden that we could use. The property was very well equipped and the rooms were large and bright. It would be nice to have curtains in all of the rooms; the shutters are a lovely feature but its a shame to have to lose all of the daylight. Beware the step between the kitchen and lounge!

5/5 Excellent

Spacious homely flat with charming hosts
This large basement flat was a great last minute find. It's spacious, fully equipped and located in a quiet area with plenty of on-street parking right outside. Jane and James are charming hosts who live right above the flat, so are always on hand to answer any questions and offer local advice. There was a substantial 'welcome pack' of food basics and goodies, easily the best we've seen, and a very warm welcome (every day) from Ivy the spaniel! The flat is beautifully decorated along the lines of the 'arts and crafts' movement and feels more like a home from home than a holiday rental. TV reception was patchy when we stayed but that's being sorted. All in all a lovely spot for a short break.

5/5 Excellent

Lovely apartment
This is a lovely apartment in the beautiful setting of Bridge of Allan. The host, Jane, was very welcoming with lots of thoughtful touches. We have really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others.

5/5 Excellent

Excellent flat and wlecoming hostess
The flat is light and airy. The rooms are good-sized and the kitchen is well-equipped with new appliances. Well-furnished with everyhting you might need for a comfortable stay and a very good selection of books as well. Jane, the hostess, and her husband are welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. Wifi and central heating work well.

5/5 Excellent

Warm and cosy stay in the stunning setting of Bridge of Allan
This flat is very comfortable, spacious and warm with lovely furnishings and finishes.. It is newly renovated and decorated to a very high standard and very well equipped with all you need for a relaxing stay. The owner, Jane, was most welcoming and provided a helpful starter pack for my arrival.
