It’s a great little hotel, easy to find. The rooms are clean and the staff is super friendly. Just finishing up a remodel so almost everything now is new.

Property is currently being renovated so I can excuse some of the mess in the hallway carpet due to contractor traffic, but it could have been vacuumed up better by the time we arrived back in the evening.
I'm excited to see how it looks when all renovations are complete. The finishes displayed look awesome.

We had a confirmation number for 3 nights at GrandStay Hotel in Cambridge MN, paid for. Upon arrival at approx 7:40 PM the first night, we were turned away as they could not find our reservation. No other rooms available. It was a devastating situation to be in at that time of night. Until I receive an explanation of what happened, I can only guess.

Hello Elizabeth, I'm sorry that you experienced this problem. Sometimes when booking through a third party not all of the reservations come through to us. I know how frustrating it can get, but being that you booked through a third party and not through us directly is something that you would have to get a hold of Expedia for.

Let's just say for the price I paid for my room I should have been able to get the room I paid for. $200 almost for a king room and what they gave me was not that. . My room had a weird smell like musty almost and I'm assuming the toilet leaked since there was a cup sitting behind it under the pipes coming from the wall to the toilet. Girl at desk wouldn't do anything because there is no manager there. For some reason the pool is close to the public couldn't swim. Vending machines didn't work. Ya . Not to happy about that especially since they have so many rules and yet if you mess up oh it's the end of the world they mess up it don't matter there's no manager around so who cares. Lame

Matthew, Thank you for your review. I am sorry for your experience. The pool is closed to outside swimmers only but is open to guests only. We do this so that our hotel guests have a more enjoyable experience with less distraction from the community. We did speak to a guest agent from Expedia and offered to have you check out at no cost, however at the time you choose to stay and checked out with us in the morning.
