You'll have to spend some time aquainting yourself with the ferry timetable and a map of the lake. Nothing much goes on in Dumenza itself. "Laura was a great host. The apartment is quite a challenge to find for the first time , she was on hand to guide us . She also spent a lot of time giving us tourist ideas of where to go and what to see , and with WhatsApp she was always on hand to answer questions. The apartment was delightful, perfect for 2 people with everything you could need in it ( UK people , remember to bring a power adaptor to convert from Euro style to UK ) . "The place had a great view but no sun on the deck (early October). The bed was a disappointment since it was a pullout sofa with 2 separate (very hard) beds. We did not realize we had to bring our own sheets and towels. Marcus arranges that we could walk to a ladies house and pay quite a bit of money to rent sheets for 3 days. (We used our beach towels and scarves instead). All instructions were in German so the pages of information sent was unreadable to us. We asked for English instructions...
