Cala Ratjada falls in the municipality of Capdepera, in the northeast of Mallorca, the point of the island that’s closest to Menorca. Put your eyes to the test and try to catch a glimpse of the Menorcan coast on the horizon! The coastline in this area is known for being uneven with cliffs, but this also means it’s home to some beautiful coves that have been awarded with the blue flag, perfect for taking a dip and cooling off. Take the path that goes from the tiny Cala Gat to Sa Pedruscada, the perfect place to enjoy snorkelling, and on the way you can see other beaches, such as Son Moll.
Look for the best deals on cheap trips to Cala Ratjada to get to know another side of the Balearic Islands. The area includes several points of historical interest, such as the lighthouse built in the 19th century atop Punta de Capdepera, which is still in operation to this day. Nearby you will find Palau March, a stately home owned by the March family with a garden of sculptures including works by Rodin and Henry Moore, among others. In summer, this unique spot is also used to host concerts.
If you love water sports, then you should definitely take a look at our package deals to Cala Ratjada. Snorkelling, scuba diving and even surfing are just some of the activities you can enjoy here, as the waters in this area are slightly choppier than the rest of the island. If you're interested in shopping, then Carrer Elionor Servera is a must-see spot, home to most of the town’s shops. The Plaça dels Pins also makes for an interesting visit, as it hosts a market on Saturday mornings. Are you really going to miss all of this?
What are you waiting for? Book your flight plus hotel to Cala Ratjada today. The nearest airport is in Palma, approximately 50 miles away. If you're travelling by boat, the ports with regular lines to the peninsula are Palma and Alcúdia. Although you can find public transportation options once you’re on the island, the quickest way to reach the town is by hiring a car.
Rooms a bit on the small side. Bed comfy and air conditioning effective. Staff great except one on the reception just couldnt be bothered, each thing we asked him to do he said it could be done next morning ( when he wasnt on duty). Laura and Ruben were superb. No tea/coffee facilities in the room ...
Every was perfect, location, food, staff, facilities. Can’t see myself not going back there.
sehr gutes Essen und teilweise schnelle und sympatischer service im speisesaal. sehr gepflegte anlage auch sehr gut für reisen mit kindern geeignet. die rezeption ist teilweise etwas -verschlafen- , jedoch nett.
It was enjoyable can't fault it Staff were cheerful and always willing to help no complaints from me
Hotel is good but noisy. Facilities are good and an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. 4.5 out of 5 is about right. I do think it is a bit cheeky to charge to use the room safe in. 5 star hotel.
Pros: delicious food, hard working staff, proximity of sea walks Cons: small bedroom, noise at night, unwelcoming reception
Great location with beaches within easy reach and a scuba diving centre 2 minutes walk away. Food was excellent, tasty and lots of choice, variety of dishes changed every day. Staff were very helpful. Bit of a trek from the airport with young children (well over 2 hours on coach) but would still ...
top! Beautifull place and very good location to relax.
