Top things to do in Cala Millor
All the secrets of Cala Millor
Book a holiday in Cala Millor to enjoy the island of Mallorca with all its fine sandy beaches, hiking trails and traditional markets. Cala Millor is a tourist hotspot located on the east coast of Mallorca. Its main attraction is the beach of the same name, spanning some 1,800 metres (2,000 yards). The water is crystal clear, ideal for scuba diving and windsurfing. Of course, our cheap trips to Cala Millor offer so much more, so take note and get ready for everything this town has in store for you.
On Mondays from March to October, from 9.30 a.m, you can visit Cala Millor market, a meeting point for locals and visitors alike where you can buy cheeses, sausages and other local produce, as well as artisanal goods, clothing and leather products. Breathe in the lively, authentic atmosphere of the marketplace and pick up a souvenir of your holidays.
If you like adventure and hiking, make sure to pack some good walking boots in the suitcase, because with our package deals to Cala Millor you’ll have plenty of routes to explore. One of them is to climb the Puig de Na Penyal, a circular route that takes about two and a half hours. There are some quite steep stretches before you reach the top, but the views are well worth it. Keep your eyes peeled and you’ll probably see lizards, turtles and rabbits on your way.
Another highly recommended option is the Cala Millor-Artà-Canyamel Route, which is also circular. You’ll definitely want to set a whole day aside for it, though, as it spans more than 40 kilometres (25 miles) and you’ll want to stop by the towns you come across. For example, in Artà you can visit Ses Païsses, one of the largest archaeological sites in Mallorca. Be sure you don’t miss this historic place that experts date to around 850 BC.
Palma de Mallorca Airport is around 70 kilometres (40 miles) from Cala Millor. Thanks to its location near the capital, you can take advantage of our travel offers to Cala Millor and visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria de Palma de Mallorca and the Bellver Castle.
