"I’ve been traveling to the Cabot trail for decades, the area itself is somewhat remote with no adjacency to city centres but the scenery is unmatched. We stayed in cabin F, had a coffee maker and fridge with a bbq available for each room in the cabin. It’s a minute walk to a fantastic beach where you can catch a pretty fantastic sun rise. The sunsets behind the property over the water which is also beautiful but to see the sun come up over the cliffs with the keltic lodge and Cape Smokey in the distance is pretty amazing. There is a restaurant on site we didn’t get a chance to stop in but it close to some great little stops along the trail. "

"We had such a great time here! The location is awesome, the time in the hammocks was sublime, and it's not too far from the beach (~35 min by car), which was great for paddleboarding, swimming, etc. A couple guests (including us) did not get the room/suite they reserved on Expedia, so I'd advise guests to confirm your room with the owner directly once you've booked. In our case it worked out fine, as we got one of the adorable cottages and it was awesome; the owners were super helpful and lovely. Having a firepit was awesome - like camping but better! We loved the hot tub and all the different lounging spot options. A great spot to unwind and relax by the sea. I hope we can be back! My only note is that the chemical/floral cleaning smell when we first checked in was so strong, it gave both me and my daughter a headache. It was gone by the second day, but I'd suggest notifying the owner in advance (which I failed to do) if you have a scent sensitivity."

"Lovely location in Ingonish Ferry, can get warm if you don't like noisy AC like us. Overall pleasant stay, and the woman at the front desk was beneficial, and all staff were very kind. Would stay again."
