The best area to stay in Ca' De Ramundi is the main village itself, particularly around the historic centre. This area offers a blend of convenience and authentic Ligurian charm. The main piazza, Piazza della Chiesa, is a central point, surrounded by local shops, traditional trattorias, and a few artisanal boutiques. The narrow, pedestrian-friendly carrugi (alleys) wind through the old buildings, leading to unexpected viewpoints and small squares. You'll find most of the village's amenities within a short walk here. For couples looking for a relaxing and romantic escape, staying directly in the village centre is ideal. You'll be able to enjoy leisurely strolls, dine at local restaurants without needing transport, and experience the quiet evenings, perhaps with a glass of local wine on a balcony overlooking the rooftops. The proximity to the walking paths that connect Ca' De Ramundi to other scenic villages is also a plus.Families will also find the village centre appealing due to the ease of access to everything. Children can enjoy the open space of the piazza, and the limited car traffic within the pedestrian zones makes it a comfortable environment for exploring.

The best time to go to Ca' De Ramundi is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months. These periods offer pleasant weather, ideal for exploring the Ligurian coastline and hills.During spring, the landscape is lush and green, and the temperatures are mild, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C. This makes it superb for hiking the numerous trails, such as those connecting the Cinque Terre villages, or enjoying leisurely walks along the seaside promenades without the intense heat of summer. The crowds are also generally smaller than in peak summer.Autumn provides similarly comfortable temperatures, usually between 18°C and 28°C, and the sea remains warm enough for swimming until late September. This season is also known for local harvest festivals, offering a chance to experience regional traditions and cuisine. The light is often beautiful for photography, and the atmosphere is generally more relaxed than in July and August. While summer (July and August) brings the warmest weather, superb for beach holidays with temperatures often above 30°C, it is also the busiest time. The coastal towns can be very crowded, and prices for accommodation and activities are at their highest. If your priority is swimming and sunbathing, and you don't mind the crowds, summer could be suitable.Winter (November to March) is generally cooler and wetter, with temperatures around 5°C to 15°C. Many seasonal businesses, particularly in smaller coastal towns, close during this period.
