Top Burnham-on-Sea Hotel Reviews

Majestic Hotel Cardiff
10/10 Excellent
"Great location and great room"

Cardiff Marriott Hotel
6/10 Okay
"Room was nice but the aircon wasn't working in the hotel. Our room was so hot it was uncomfortable and struggled to sleep even with the fan on.
We had a late Hyrox on Friday night so checked the website which said we could book a table for dinner up to 10pm with food served until 11pm. Arrived at 9:55pm and were told we couldn't order food unless it was for room service. As our room was so hot, there was no way we could eat there. Ended up walking around Cardiff at 10pm trying to find some dinner which wasn't ideal."

The Parkgate Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel was great . Got caught out with the extra charge to use the spa as we thought it was included "

The Coal Exchange Hotel
6/10 Okay
"No towels in the room.
Shower had one temp.
"

Village Hotel Cardiff
8/10 Good
"The lady that checked us in was such a lovely lady (i think her name was Donna) so friendly, absolute pleasure to meet her. Bed was really comfy and breakfast was good. Management, you need to look after staff like her, she is a real asset. "

Hampton by Hilton Bristol Airport
6/10 Okay
"The staff were very friendly and all had a good sense of humour. The biggest problem is the prices of chocolate bar £2.50 a bag of crisps £2.50. There was lots on display and nobody bought any if they reduce the price they would sell more and they would make a good profit. It’s the same with the price of spirits £550 to £6 per shot we ended up going into our room and drinking their own drink helped double up for a discount. That’s the only negative thing I have to say."

The Angel Hotel
4/10 Poor
"Unfortunately from arrival it didn’t start well. Prior to arrival we were given a discounted parking code that had expired and was told on arrival that they no longer give codes out despite giving an expired code via email before arrival. Room is dated and needs an upgrade. Bed was very soft and uncomfortable. Cleanliness wasn’t great but we ignored it as we weren’t in the room long. Breakfast was ok, but overall poor and wouldn’t stay again."

Future Inns Cardiff Bay
8/10 Good
"Room clean but carpet stained and dusty in corners, no soap container so soap was sliding all over the bathroom top so had to keep it on a towel to soak up the water"

Park Plaza Cardiff
8/10 Good
"Check in was easy and the reception staff said let them know if I needed anything. I wanted green teabags and asked for them over 2 days about 4 times. Eventually, Georgia, the reception supervisor, put them in the room herself, so I had them for my last evening……
I’d asked for a walk-in shower but the water was lukewarm, and, although they said it had been fixed, it hadn’t, so two disappointing showers in 2 days! The room was clean but the floor was a bit gritty (I was barefoot as I don’t wear shoes indoors) but otherwise a corporate room, plenty of space and adequate lighting and quite nice biscuits.
I can’t understand why quality hotels only offer instant coffee in the rooms though!
After checkout, while I was waiting to leave for my train, Georgia very kindly found me a nice place to sit. Would I stay there again? Not sure, but it is a few mins walk from the National Museum of Wales, which is why I chose it."
