This was my first time at the Hollywood Volume and I had a 10/10 experience. The staff was super lovely and helpful. Special thanks to Nick who was very friendly and always gave everyone a warm welcome. They have a wonderful bar with great food where they play afro house music on a Friday and Saturday night - very good DJ! The only side note is that the WiFi was not great and sometimes I couldn't even watch Netflix in the room because of the poor connection. And to the cleaners, overall they did...

I really enjoyed my stay in this very friendly place. The room was clean and had a nice decor. As a solo traveler I felt safe in the hotel and in Sherman Oaks area. There are restaurants and 7/11 you can easily walk to and some shops and mall short ride away. The bus that goes to Universal Studios is also nearby so this is a good place to stay if you want to explore LA but stay away from Hollywood or Downtown that are not so great.
Staff members (especially Emily) were nice and caring.

We had an excellent 3 nights at Villa Brazil, 23 - 25/7/26. The Brazilian family who run the motel couldn't have been more helpful & friendly! We had a fantastic meal in their restaurant the first night & I can highly recommend that as well. We just wish that we'd had time to have another meal there. One of our biggest concerns when booking a hotel in LA for the first time was safety & again on this front we felt extremely safe for the duration of our stay! We had an amazing time while in Beverly Hills and this small but well equipped apartment was excellent. It’s small but has a comfortable bed, decent size bathroom with a shower and a tiny kitchen with fridge and microwave.
The pool was a couple of metres from the front door. That was also clean tidy.
It’s a short walk into Beverly Hills.
I would highly recommend staying here if you’re a couple, although they do have a slightly bigger apartment for a small family.
