"We have stayed in many french gites over the years, but this farmhouse in the grounds of a beautiful chateau is exceptional. The location, close to Malestroit and Ploermel was excellent for shopping and visiting the markets and many larger towns were less than 30 minutes away. Helene was a great host, who was friendly, informative and helpful. She personally ensured the swimming pool was kept scrupulously clean and open from 8am to 8pm everyday - much appreciated on some very hot days. Highly...

"We spent a leisurely 12 days in this comfortable home. Patricia and her family made us feel immediately welcome. The bedrooms have views of the chateau. Inside, the house is very quiet; stepping out front we were always greeted by melodic bird songs. It is a two minute walk to the Brest-Nantes canal with lovely walking paths on both sides, and a 5-10 minute walk to the center restaurants and boulangeries. We could not have been happier with our stay."

"Very warm and friendly welcome from the owners, with a nice bottle of local cider and some biscuits to help us recover from the long journey. They also coped with my basic French! Information on the property and the surrounding area was clear and useful. Very close to Pontivy where there are hypermarkets, shops etc. Also next to the amazing cycle path on the river - great for walks and easy cycling.
