"Booked Brook Hall for a stag weekend of 12 guys, which Edward was happy to accommodate. It was a fantastic base while we spent most of our time out and about in York (20 - 30 minutes away) and Leeds (30 - 40 minutes away). "A good budget option for a family or small group. About half an hours walk to the city centre and you can use the walls for part of that which is nice. Self check in via key box is very convenient and they sent a list of shops/restaurants etc which was also nice. Towels and sheets are professionally laundered which I appreciated. "Lovely property but some improvements needed. We really enjoyed our stay in this house which is so near the river, park, Bishy Rd and central York. The property does need some serious talc especially paintwork, outside space and some of the basics provided such as only one tea towel for a 10 day stay. The information for the house needs some updating also. It states there is a washer/dryer but it isn’t it is just a washer and doesn’t mention a dishwasher which the kitchen does have. Overall we...
