"The whole hotel is incredibly dirty and run down. There were hairs all over the bed and floors, stains on the walls, and peeling paint everywhere. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, and whilst orders arrived incorrectly each day at breakfast, the food was tasty. On the Thursday night, the music from the bar was so loud until midnight, that I slept with earphones in. This is definitely not at a 4* level, I suspect there are much better options around York."
