"Stayed at The Green Dragon as It was a good base for our planned walk at Ribblehead. Our room was very nice. The bathroom was OK, few big cobwebs though. TV signal was poor and there were no mainstream channels that we could find. The pub is nice and old, very busy for a village pub and the food was very good. The car park was very busy most of the time so we had to park on the road."

"What a great find. The perfect stop off on our way to the Highlands. The room (room 5) was incredibly spacious and clean. "Loved our stay, great location. Our room was compact, but well appointed and clean. Only minor gripe being a very small shower. Absolute highlight was our host Roxana. Lovely from start to finish, friendly, helpful and an amazing chef because breakfast was awesome. Will definitely return when we go back to the Dales. "

"We had a week’s stay at Orton Hall in Nell Gwyn Cottage. The front room and bedroom were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped, but it all felt a bit dated.
