Relax on Viking Bay's golden sand beach where Charles Dickens found inspiration for his famous novels. Explore Bleak House and the Dickens Museum, then enjoy fresh seafood at harbor-side restaurants when the tide retreats.
Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Stayed in the Amy Johnson room full of lovely things relating to Amy. The whole place is a credit to the wonderful hosts. Fantastic breakfast. Exceptional

Great, modern hotel. Favreau room and location. Right in the heart of the Old Town. Check in and keys are all online via an app. First time, I use a staff less hotel but it was all very smooth. Highly recommended

The B&B is located a few minutes from Canterbury East train station and is also close to the centre of town.
The room was well-furnished with fresh water in a jug (with lemon!), kettle, TV and a hairdryer. All the nice touches added up!
The host, Terry, was very warm and a good conversationalist. He gave me a map when I arrived and explained how to get into town to start exploring.
There were also good options for breakfast.
10/10 - would stay again!

We had a comfortable and friendly stay at St Peter’s B&B. We were given a ground floor converted stable room which was well furnished, comfortable and clean. The ensuite shower was amazing. Both complimentary continental buffet breakfast and hot cooked breakfast of your choice was available. The location was in the centre of Sandwich, less than 5 minutes walk to the shops. The sea is a longer walk but there is no traditional seaside as such. However, Deal which is only 15 minutes drive is...

Lovely apartment - right in the city centre, but not noisy at all. Huge shower. Fully equipped kitchen - everything you could need. Would definitely stay here again - and hosts are very communicative and helpful. Highly recommended.

The property far exceeded our expectations, clean, tidy and warm, it is located in a quiet location on the grounds away from the main house any you feel like your totally self contained. The owner lets you be, and sent just a couple of courteous emails in case we wanted things like change of towels. the property is only about 7min drive to the centre of Canterbury.

Great stay - convenient location just a short walk from the high st and attached to a fabulous restaurant. We stayed on the top floor - great room but a bit tricky for anyone who is less mobile or quite tall. Really great friendly service from the staff from start to finish.

When we arrived at Churchill Guest House we have been welcomed by Alex who was very kind and helpful as he gave us many tips on places to see and restaurants.
Our room, Clementine, was very clean and comfortable. I do recommend staying there.

Staff very welcoming and helpful. Staff contacted me as I had anticipated a later arrival to advise about dining times whch was really helpful. Food was good. Could be a bit more options of gluten free at breakfast

Staff were wonderful as was the room and the food available in the restaurant.
Only disadvantage was the lack of car parking but that still wouldn’t put us off returning.

Stayed one night and had booked two superior double sea view rooms.
Friendly and professional reception staff for checking in, and more than helpful in informing us of times and whats where.
Rooms were immaculate with ensuite shower/bath facilities, including touch sensitive bathroom mirror. Double bed sufficient for three with plenty of pillows and blankets in cupboard if needed. Being November heating from radiators was more than adequate for however warm one wanted to be.
Both rooms were...
