Walking distance to nice town area

The hotel staff is extremely nice and responsive, they immediately looked after our requests without a problem. The only issue we had was with our bathroom sink, it was clogged and it had a bad smell. Other than that, the bathroom and bedroom were nice and spacious. The hotel in general is modern and clean. We were only there for two nights and being close to the shops and restaurants in a lovely town area was definitely a plus.

Nice hotel. But unsafe

Car park spaces to small Got to room to find electrical safety tests 2 years out of date. Could not use any of the appliances in the room. If you stay here check the stickers on electrica items

Many thanks for your feedback Baz, I was sorry to learn that you believe that you could not use any of the electrical appliances in your bedroom due to the Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) stickers on the items in your particular room dated October 2015. Please rest assured that at Novotel, the health and safety of both guest and colleague if of paramount importance to us. Although, there are no requirements for PAT testing frequency there are however,recommendations for hotels that this should be carried out every 48 months. At Novotel, we have gone one step further and contracted our PAT testing to Langston & Jones annually and the last inspection was carried out in November 2016. I am sure that had you made us aware of your concern at the time then we would have done our utmost to clearly explain our procedures and inspect your room as often the stickers can come away from the appliances. In addition, we also have a fully trained Maintenance Engineer in PAT Testing based at the hotel who regularly inspects the equipment albeit, he is not in in possession of the official Langston & Jones stickers. I am therefore disappointed that you have rated the hotel 1/5 without fully understanding the position of Novotel as you room was perfectly safe. Seeing family in bristol

Pros: It was local, but so were many others.
Asked for a quiet room but got a room over the air con units. They were on all night, got no sleep.

Nice Hotel had a great time there

I had a great night and the staff were awesome I really loved the place and I will love to come down again it's cheap as well I will recommend to people who wants to have a great stay in a hotel NOVOTEL IS one of the best in Bristol so far they room are very tidy and beds are comfortable no disturbance you can do whatever you likes yeah Thanks Novotel

Great, cental hotel near the station

Pros: Loved the sofa bed for the kids - two individual pull out beds stopped kids rolling into each other like they do on a typical sofa bed. Very comforta
Cons: Breakfast on the 2nd day was poor. We waited nearly 30 mins for our pot of tea. Generally understaffed. Day 1 had been great.
Half term trip to see @Bristol, the Aquarium etc.

Very nice hotel. Great location. Liked the room. Staff very helpful. Have stayed here before. Will use this hotel again. Ideal location for Bristol Hippodrome. Impressed with facilities close by. Shame breakfast not included in the price.

Just one little thing that otherwise would b a perfect 5 ( littlecnoise from next door ) believe it was a conference room so it's all good ;)

Central to Bristol centre

Car parking at hotel £10 a night took the dog another £10 a night but the food staff and accommodation were excellent especially the breakfast with wonderful sausages cooked to perfection not like some places where they are left under the grill. A very satisfying stay and will return.

very nice place to stay

upon arrival staff were very friendly and helpful even giving my little boy and free yo-yo and head phone which little touches like that make a difference,we had food in the restaurant which really was outstanding and the kids meal talk about value for money it was huge,and the breakfast didn't disappointed either all with very attentive staff,I would definitely recommend this hotel for sure.
