Great layout and worked well for 3 couples. The location is fantastic, easy walk to public transport and local eateries. Offsite parking was also an added bonus.Our main criticism is the arrival of a garden maintenance team at 7:30am the morning of our departure. The property was clean, spacious, and probably the most well equipped "home away from home" we have stayed in. Crockery, cutlery, pantry staples etc etc - more than adequate for our family of 5\. The furnishings are comfortable and the house was easily cooled with the air conditioners - very much appreciated for those unaccustomed to the QLD heat! The location was great with plenty of things to do and places to eat within easy walking distance. The parks and open spaces at the end of the street were ideal for the kids to burn some energy, and it was a nice leisurely walk across to explore the city. A couple of pubs really close by with great food and atmosphere, and an IGA type supermarket well equipped within walking distance. Hosts were very responsive, check in and out was a breeze. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the property let it down. We found cups with chips, some were missing handles & there was also chipped plates.The dining chairs are disintegrating leaving black material everywhere, the shower drain is broken and had a sharp edge. The cleaner vacuumed to just under the beds, under one of the single beds we found a old takeaway coffee cup. The skirtings etc haven't been wipedOverall we loved the location but wouldn't return to this house.
