Great property. We'll presented and modern. Very well appointed rooms and a great roof top bar.
There were a couple of standout issues that really made the stay a little unpleasant.
Firstly, the rooms are sound insulated from outside aircraft noise but unfortunately Ridges haven't sought to provide internal sound insulation between rooms.
The room next door had their TV on through to 0330 in the morning and I could hear the dialogue from the movie. Along with this, the room entry doors don't have soft closers so when you let a door go, it just slams shut.
Another major issue is the lack of blockout blinds. We had two rooms and the drapes sit about 1cm away from fully closed making sleep an issue.
Lastly if you pay for a full buffet breakfast you don't get coffee. That's available separately. Given the cost of the buffet, I think you should get at the very least, one cup of coffee at breakfast.
Overall a nice place but these couple of issues are a major turn off so next trip/s, I'll definitely reconsider my options and look to go back to Accor.
