When I booked the booking was with breakfast and we were two in the room, when taking breakfast they said only one will get free while the other to pay! I have never seen this kind of treatment before. It was strange for me. The breakfast itself was not ready, you order they make like restaurant! That was inconvenient.

Our room was clean and loved the layout. The beds were a bit hard and not very comfortable and I regret not bringing my pillow from home. Overall it was a nice stay.

nice building, lumpy beds and bad service
we told the front desk the tv didnt work and they said there was no one who would help. almost noone in the hotel and they didnt ask if we wanted to change rooms. they were very nice on the surface but clearly didnt care or most of the tvs in the. entire place were broke. although service horrible, facility was nice. impossible to skeep on very lumpy bed.

Manager at front desk was fast friendly and efficient. The hall to my room smelled like people were smoking. Not thrilled by that. My room was fine though. Slept well w a hot shower.

My rating on staff is not due to the staff, which was excellent. Mi low was for the service. There was no free coffee no big coffee when we came down there was no hot breakfast and even if there was we had to pay for everything at some thing I’m not used to nor do I want if I stay someplace that has breakfast I expect free breakfast.

Check-in was initially frustrating due to a lack of room availability, but Matthew handled the situation exceptionally and provided a level of customer service that was nothing less than mood altering. Kudos to your staff for having our room ready more quickly than initially estimated and for a pleasant stay.

Overall disappointed with this property. Usually the ratings on Expedia represent the hotels I stay at pretty accurately but this was an exception. Initially couldn’t shorten the dates I was staying due to my room selection not being available for change. When I checked in for the original dates, wasn’t even given the type of room I requested because “Marriott is allowed to overbook rooms”. Which is interesting because I wasn’t allowed to change the room type when trying to change my dates. Then during my stay I kept finding these bites all on my legs. Initially thought bed bugs and scoured the room for them. Didn’t find anything. On my check out day, found out that there were ants coming from a crack in the bathroom floor/wall and these were what was biting me. Had a big bruise and reaction to the one of the ant bites. Didn’t bother notifying hotel because at this point I was entirely over the experience and wanted no more interactions.

Not worth the price.
Check in was very easy. The staff at the front desk was amazing. This hotel was not worth, 270 a night. The bed was too hard. If you wanted breakfast you had to pay for it.

Mathew was great. A very hostile guest was trying to dispute something in front of us as we were trying to check in. He handled a very nasty person with professionalism and humility. He was very sweet. Great hotel, very clean.

It was a decent stay but what got me pretty frustrated is I prepaid and they ended up charging me again and of course it’s taking forever to have that money post back to my account.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It was clean and the staff was always friendly and helpful. The only thing I was not please was that the cafe was not open every morning. They had complimentary coffee because it was closed but no tea (that is what I drink) With no other breakfast options I was annoyed. Also- no tea in the rooms.

There were no towels in the pool area and when we asked for a towel, they said they were out and handed us two hand towels and a bath mat (better than nothing?). The cafe was expensive and the staff at the cafe never took our order after we stood there for 25 minutes. She was helping another couple and then had to prepare their food from scratch apparently and just ignored us. The walls were very thin. We could hear someone knocking on another room door in the hallway and slamming doors late at night. I did like there there was a pool. The pool area is nice. There was convenient ice on our floor. Other than the cafe staff, the front desk person was nice.

We were in town for a hockey tournament and the service was great. The hotel was clean and comfortable!! The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms were roomy and very comfortable. 2 restaurants are within 2-3 walk. I would highly recommend!!

Older, dated hotel. Room was not clean. Everything older and tired. The maid left new towels but did not clean the room. No breakfast except paid. No coffee or tea except paid. Staff was young and I professional looking. Facilities old. Definitely not worth the money we paid for the stay!

This hotel was perfectly adequate. The grounds were relatively well-kept, the staff was very professional and courteous, lobby/elevator were clean, room was clean and well-maintained. Good value for the price. The only complaint (and "complaint" is probably too strong a word) is that the overall property is pretty dated. The elevator is slow & rickety, the bathroom is out-dated (a tub? Really? Not a jacuzzi tub, but like a grandma's house tub. In a hotel? Don't see that much anymore...). That's it - overall, I'd say the management & staff are making the most of what they've got to work with.

Didn’t like being out in a handicap room. Staff at the front desk were not very friendly. And the coffee bar had no coffee and or were closed at 11:00am when we wanted coffee.

We were traveling on business we had 2 rooms. Mine as excellent. the other room had diarrhea in toilet. so not clean. my counter part said the second room was not up to par. I wish he had told someone. I'm thinking this could be isolated incident I was disappointed that free coffee was not offered We possibly are returning to Brighten next week We will shop for options Sorry

Courtyard By Marriott is just a great place to stay, it's clean and quiet, close to lots of good food, and the cable is awesome, with streaming showtime and hbo. The staff is really nice, and Molly the manager makes sure your stay has all the accommodations you need, at a level second to none. If you're booking a room in Brighton, be sure to check them out!!
