"What a lovely last minute booking we made - great find albeit in the middle of nowhere 😂 We were made very welcome from the minute we arrived until we went home. Homemade biscuits were a lovely touch in the room. Nothing was any trouble, the staff were amazing. The property was a fabulous period property in a quiet location. Food was very good, vast menu, fresh local ingredients - excellent choice. If I had one criticism, it would be milk for tea/coffee in the rooms - there is a fridge in the hallway with milk to fill a small jug from your room. It’s great to have fresh milk, however when I went to the fridge so I could make a morning cuppa, the fridge was bare ☹️ missed my morning cuppa - I would suggest having a couple of large jugs of milk so that there is always milk available. but other than that it was fab. Breakfast was included and was nice - to avoid waste it’s cook to order and I’m sure you could just ask for more if wanted."
