"The hotel is so comfortable and well thought out. It’s clean and quiet and there is literally everything you need. From facecloths to hair straighteners, and strong coffee at breakfast. I would thoroughly recommend Kerrington House, it’s a lovely place to stay."
"Beautiful spot and secluded, allowing for great walks along the cliffs, very hospitable staff, good food, welcome after a long treck, or to set us up nicely for the day with their great breakfast."
"The hotel had a grand and atmospheric dining room, and the staff, both at breakfast and checking in/out were most welcoming and friendly. A very good breakfast too. "
"With two dogs, we appreciated the safe and scenic spaces to walk around. The Bark Park outdoor field, with its sandpit and climbing equipment, was brilliant. Overall, we couldn't fault anything. The restaurant/food was perfect.
Thank you. 😊 "
"A nice place to stay, staff were friendly, and room was clean and comfortable. Really close to shops and the water. A little bit noisy with the band downstairs on a Sunday night though."

"Chalet/bungalow type property on a small estate of similar properties. Lovely and quiet, ample parking. No amenities onsite, although there is a hotel there and you would need to book to eat there - we asked to pop in for a drink and they said no, we're too busy and short staffed!! Odd way to treat a perspective customer! Its a short drive or walk into charmouth for pub/fish n chips, shop and chemist. The chalet itself was lovely, tastefully decorated and good quality fixtures and fittings, all immaculate. Cleanliness was outstanding. The welcome pack filled with good quality items was amazing! Milk in fridge was also very welcome. Dog friendly, but nearest woods walk does have ticks so we didn't use it and took our dog to the beaches. If I can be negative on one point which is pretty important if you've been out all day and want to relax - please replace the sofas! They are so uncomfortable! Bed was fine. All in all we really enjoyed staying at Fernhill Heights and would love to go back."
"The property is located on a site which includes a hotel and a group of small private homes. None of which is a negative. The area is very quiet, but you definitely need a car.
The surrounding area is sensationally beautiful and well worth a visit and we enjoyed our trips out very much.
The property itself was disappointing. It looked good on paper, but the moment we opened the front door, it was smelly.
The smell was a continual issue. Every time we returned from a trip, it was as though the place had been left unattended for a few weeks. There was a raised area of flooring which seemed to me to be an issue as well. Is this where it came from?
We had to open all the windows each time we got back. On the third day of our 5 night stay, we returned and the it smelt strongly of (I assume) sewerage chemicals. Opening windows cleared it, but it was the final straw so we decided to cut our losses and return home.
I had a couple of other gripes, but none would have been enough to cause us to go home early. The smell is the main complaint - an air freshener would not have sorted it.
All the correspondence I’d had, was from Sykes Cottages, I tried to contact them on their What’s App, as I wanted to let them know. I had no response - not until days after we were home. I asked them for a refund on the final two nights. I’ve still yet to hear about this, but Expedia, although, were helpful but were not able to get this from them either it seems. Not happy."
"Lovely quiet B&B with on-site parking. Short drive to nearby attractions or walk to beach. Quiet and comfortable rooms, recently decorated and totally unmarked, almost as if we were the first to use the room. Excellent breakfast and lovely friendly staff. Would definitely use again"
