A gorgeous hotel with beautiful decor and excellent food and drink- all staff very welcoming - a joy to visit

was given upgrade on arrival very nice staff and great room. Its a 15 min walk to town center but worth it overall excelent place to stay

Sam and Annie are delightful hosts. The views are stunning, breakfast is top notch and the property is well located for the Tarka Trail and the restaurants in town

We stayed at the Hotel for four nights bed and breakfast. The room was spotless and top notch. Bathroom was very clean and high quality. We had dinner on our last night, using our ten percentage voucher. The standard of food and service was first class and made for an enjoyable conclusion to our stay.

Our first excursion after COVID lockdown so a little anxious but everything was taken care of. The hosts did an excellent job of following the guidelines so we felt relaxed. Food was from a limited menu but understandable given the circumstances and was very good.

When we arrived it was dark so we had no idea where we were, the lady in reception was very friendly and gave us a choice of two rooms, the rooms were clean and tidy, unfortunately the hotel only does breakfast but the lady pointed us in the right direction for food. It was a lovey quite night and when we got up and looked out the window....omg...what a view, we were right by the sea on the edge of a cliff. From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we had nothing but friendly attentive service from the staff at the pub. We were fortunate to be upgraded from a room in the pub to one of the relatively new lodges. The lodge was immaculate on arrival and very comfortable and well equipped. We had breakfast included and this was first class with locally sourced food included. We had two evening dinners at the pub and both were excellent from the very varied menu on offer.

Lovely hotel and restaurant. Great location and view. Very pleased with stay.

Very friendly. I was assisted up the stairs with a suitcase. One problem was that I couldn't drop the suitcase at the front door of the hotel as there was no entry signs at each end of the road so I had to trundle my case from the car park. I may have booked a nearer car park had I known.
