Although I did enjoy certain aspects of my stay, there were a few things that prevented me from giving this establishment a perfect five-star rating.
First off, I have to say the overall vibe of the place, especially Room 11, was really charming and cozy. However, I was surprised to find leftovers from the previous guest in the bathroom's mini-fridge, which definitely put a damper my first impression of our room.
On top of that, the bed sheets were rough to the point of causing skin irritation for both me and my husband. Plus, the mattress springs weren't exactly the most comfortable, making it hard to get a good night's sleep.
And as for the claim of soundproofing, let's just say our neighbors' late-night music session at 3 a.m. proved otherwise. We could practically sing along!
Given these points, I'd recommend bringing your own soft sheets for a better night's sleep. Despite these issues, I'd still rate The Bradford a solid four stars. And I have to give a shoutout to the restaurant downstairs – great food and exceptional service!
