The slightly cooler weather makes walking around the memorials and outdoor exhibits more comfortable. It's also a wonderful time for couples seeking a peaceful yet engaging historical getaway. If you're a family travelling with school-aged children, the summer holidays (July and August) are also a good option, despite being busier. The longer daylight hours and warmer temperatures are great for enjoying the coastal areas and outdoor activities if you don't mind sharing the sights with more people.
