"We stayed at the end of July for 12 nights with our 9 year old son. The house is set up with everything you need for a holiday away from home with a wonderfully stocked kitchen. The fantastic owners met us and left a beautiful basket of vegetables from their garden which we enjoyed so much. They also left some gorgeous wine from their estate. Nothing special to do in the closed surroundings apart canoë but great base to explore a little further: Dune de Pilat and bassin d’Arcachon, Bordeaux the oenologue tour is interesting including testings, Montbazillac and Saint Emilion without missing the historique part of Bergerac. Very good holidays week. The owner is very cheerful. "

"Our group (7 adults, 7 kids and one teenager) had an absolutely wonderful two week stay in September 2023. The gite was even better than as shown in the pictures (if that's even possible) and quickly became our oasis for the trip. The large outdoor living space and fireplace were absolutely perfect in the mid-September weather, and the gite had everything needed for a great stay (and some wonderfully creative meals using produce from the many nearby local markets).
