"Loved the accessibility of this location. Right off the highway and fairly close to downtown Toronto. The unit was clean, we were a bit annoyed by the amount of flies inside and one bedroom door that wouldn’t close but other than that it was super convenient!
I was a bit worried about the check-in process being virtual but it was super easy to get the key and even had someone at a front desk for help and/or anything else. "
"The worst vacation rental I have ever stayed in. No check-in available was available. Upon contacting one landlord, I was pressured to accept staying at another property, which is a violation of Expedia/Vrbo policy. I declined, and upon entering the property I booked, found that there was no bed, and was once again pressured to accept another property. Upon accepting this new property, it was empty. I had to ask multiple times for proper bedding, after spending four days on a train from Vancouver. Landlords do not appear to understand the difference between a Vacation Rental and a Permanent Rental. I left the property after four days in order to find more suitable accomodation with respectable landlords, my attempts to come to terms with a refund were met with the silent treatment. Shame on the people who operate this slum, and the people that enable them."
Spacious Basement Apt Open Concept wth Separate Entrance No Walls Dividing Rooms
10/10 Excellent
"This stay was located in the suburbs of Pickering. You have a separate entrance and will stay in the basement of the home. The stay includes a lot of amenities such as toiletries and cooking spices/oil. The wifi signal is strong and there's a guest login for some streaming services. This is a perfect stay for a solo traveler or a family of three. The washer/dryer and stove were a little dated but serviceable. I would book again!"
