A Fine Stay
It's an expensive hotel. The rooms are expensive and the food is expensive. It's Boston, the facility is next to the airport, it overlooks the harbor, the Boston Harbor water taxi pulls right up to the dock next to the property, the flat screen TV in your room is big - expensive is the nature of such things, so expensive isn't a complaint when the facility and the people bring tremendous value to the table. This value is worth paying for as was the case during my stay. Every encounter with the staff, whether it was food service, concierge, shuttle driver or desk service was top notch. If you go to bed early like I do, most of the activity you can hear outside of your door is done by 9:00 pm - made for a great night's sleep. Cleaning staff did an excellent job.
The food is expensive, but, the alternative is a $20 round trip by water taxi or a cab ride into the city which, when all is said and done with regards to your meal and transportation, well exceeds the cost of a meal at the hotel. The breakfast buffet is fine, although, for the price, an omelet station would have been a nice touch.
I would stay there again provided my stay is a short one (which is what the hotel was designed for).
