Very well recently restored chateau with lovely, quiet bedrooms. Staff were very attentive to our needs. A continental breakfast including eggs of your choice was served in the beautiful dining room. The charcuterie meal was plentiful and included a glass of their wine. Other guests agreed that it would have been nice to have been able to eat a 3 course meal at the chateau instead of having to drive to a local restaurant. We would certainly recommend this experience.

I had high expectations and they were met and exceeded. The staff are polite, courteous and professional without being robotic, and that makes a difference. The room was larger than expecting, well furnished. The bathroom was good and the buttons for the shower avoided the usual fear of having to take a degree in plumbing that you usually find with hotel bathrooms. What a great place to stay in St Emilion. The hotel is towards the bottom of the old town ideally located for exploring. Our room was perfect and had everything we needed, including an iron. We really appreciated the gorgeous bath towels - full size, not the usual small French ones! The breakfast is probably the best one we’ve ever experienced in France with a choice of hot items cooked to order.
