We were left at dusk in a foreign country to find alternative accommodation, with limited help from staff, who couldn't even provide us with a 3km lift to our new found accommodation when 7 people standing around us watching all the commotion and many hotel labelled minivans available. They instead made us catch a cab when we just paid for one from one end of the isand to the other, expecting a nice bed to sleep in after 22 hours of travel to get to our desination. Not really. First impression. Friendly staff. Willing to help. The excellent front view of beaches of Boracay is amaxinf and 2nd floor room view if tbe ocean is pleasing. The crumbling firescape stairs blocked off were an eyesore. The hotel is not completed and partially finished areas are visible. Bedding needs to be replaced. Actually a full overhall would make the place a very enjoyable place ti stay. In it's day, I am sure this was a great hotel. Now, it is in a state of disrepair and miss management. Half the menu items are not available, the pool side bar was never open. Although the staff did the best they could with what they had, it always fell short. To top it off, we wanted a late departure due to a late flight out and was flatly denied stating that the hotel is booked full and they needed the room. The fact was the hotel was maybe half full. The annex Building where we were supposed to be accommodated was not yet fully constructed. The staff were all so courteous and helpful. Facilities not well maintained. Linens were not washed. In fairness to this Hotel, the room is big with your own not so clean swimming pool, staff are great, shuttle service good,free breakfast is a bonus, hotel location has one of the best view of boracay, But too far from all the activities in the island.All in all it was the best family get away, ##### nick ### 2/10 Terrible #### hellen, 한국 24 Oct 2016 Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, room comfort #### 사진이랑 너무 달라요 rio vista에 올라온 사진과 너무 다른 방을 배정받았습니다. 욕실 선반은 부서졌고, 샤워커튼 하나없이 샤워기만 달랑 달려있어 욕실에 사방으로 물이 튀고 배수도 잘 안되어 화장실바닥에 물이 흥건한 상태로 3일 내내 있었습니다. 또한 무슨 호텔방에 화장품을 놓아둘 탁자 하나, 거울 하나가 없나요?? 너무 좁아터진 객실에 여자 2명 잠만자다 나온듯하네요. 수영장 수질 또한 형편없었습니다. 룸 청소후 왜 새 생수는 안주시는거죠? 보통 최소 하루 2병의 무료 생수는 제공하지 않나요? 조식 역시 먹을것이라곤 빵과 샐러드가 다였네요. 이가격이면 디몰 3-4성급 호텔에서 묶는게 훨씬 좋은 룸컨디션과 서비스를 받았을꺼 같습니다. 차마 더이상 단점을 나열할 수 없을 정도로 너무 별로네요. 모텔도 이곳보단 낫겠다 싶었습니다. 보라카이를 다시 방문한다면 절대 그랜드 비스타에 방문하지 않을것입니다. 다만 프론트 직원과 식당의 직원들의 친절함만이 이 호텔의 장점인거 같네요 ##### hellen ### 6/10 Okay #### Yasuhiro 20 Oct 2016 Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort #### 海辺を希望しなく、静かに過ごしたい人向け 丘の上から島を眺めるローケイションでdモールまでは車で１０分かかる。ビーチの近くを希望しない人にはむいています。宿泊者の多くは韓国人です。プールもいいです。部屋によっては、日本の露天風呂のような小さなプールが部屋についている部屋もある。朝食もついているが、良くもなく悪くもなくという程度。 ##### Yasuhiro ### 6/10 Okay #### MIKI 5 Jun 2016 Disliked: Property conditions & facilities #### 広くて静か、でもホワイトビーチには遠い まずホテル自体は、決して新しくはありませんが広くて部屋にプールもあり、スタッフさんもフレンドリーで悪い印象ではありません。 決してラグジュアリーではないですが、ほどほどの値段でゆったり過ごすにはいいのでは。 ホテルのプールもまあまあ綺麗にしてます。 客層はヨーロッパ系と韓国の方が多く、日本人は私達以外いなかったかも。日本語は通じません。 たぶんハングルは片言ならなんとなく通じるみたい。 あとシャワーの出は悪いです。 海外のシャワー事情になれていればそれほど気にならない程度ですが。 多分1番の問題はビーチから遠いことだと思いますが、1時間に1回ホテルからバスの送迎が出ていますし、排気ガスはすごいですがトライシクルを使える方ならまあ不便はないかと。 ホテルのフロントの方に頼むとトライシクルつかまえてくれます。 プカビーチにもトライシクルで行けます。 これは超オススメ！ のんびりできます！ ##### MIKI ### 2/10 Terrible #### Chris, Y 6 Apr 2016 Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort #### 沒熱水 住四天兩天沒熱水。飯店離玩的地方有點遠。跟飯店要睡要加錢。不推薦。離開時跟櫃台抱怨覺得他們不care。 ##### Chris ### 4/10 Poor #### young cheol 2 Apr 2016 Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort #### 호텔스닷컴 정말 실망입니다 호텔스닷컴 홈페이지에 나온 객실 사진 대비하여 엄청 좁았고요 형편없었습니다. 또한 욕실 샤워부스는 곰팡이로 더러워져있었고요 따듯한물도 나오지 않았습니다. 호텔스닷컴 콜센터로 통해 2번이상 컴플레인 요청 , 그리고 프론트를 통해서 요청했음에도 불구하고 개선되지 않았네요. 타국에서 호텔스닷컴 콜센터 전화만 길게하고 아주 짜증스런 여행이되었습니다. ##### young cheol ### 8/10 Good #### Sol, 서울 8 Mar 2016 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service #### 좋은호텔 맛있는음식 감동서비스~ 기대를 안했는데 생각보다 너무 좋았습니다~ 객실도 업글되어서 더 넓은 곳에서 지내다 왔네요 사진과 모든곳이 동일하고 스테이션과 떨어져 있어서 아늑하고 조용한 분위기도 좋았습니다 조식도 메뉴는 적었지만 맛있게 먹었습니다 마지막날엔 아침비행기라 새벽에 체크아웃했는데 가기전에 조식을 도시락으로 챙겨주셔서 너무 감동했습니다~ 조식을 도시락으로 받은적 처음이었어요!! 주변사람들에게 꼭 추천하고 싶습니다!! ##### Sol ### 6/10 Okay #### Verified traveller 29 Jan 2016 Disliked: Staff & service, property conditions & facilities #### Overrated--stay elsewhere Highly dissapointed---pictures do not represent actual physical appearance of hotel. Staff was not helpful. Internet was choppy. Private pool was a nice touch but it wasn't heated, nor the regular pool. Don't count on the breakfast... The food was at least a few days old and reheated multiple times. Toilet and shower in the same stall making toilet super wet after each bath. Nos dijeron que la habitación Río vista no tenía ninguna de esas características.
