We have read other reviews regarding this hotel some of them not very complimentary frankly they are obviously deranged. Our experience was excellent, the hotel was clean, the rooms comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Being close to town centre.private parking. Warm and welcoming staff. Breakfast excellent. Everywhere spotlessly clean.Lovely beer garden.Warm rooms,would advise take a electric fan .

Churchill Apartments were in a great location, 2 min walk to the Bootham Gate, Sainsburys city is open late and below for anything you may need. Secure parking spot so you can just leave your car. Great view of the cathedral from the lounge, TV had Netflix etc for the kids. Such an easy access, we've stayed in York lots of times and tried all sorts of places - this was by far the best to date.

Neat, clean, and comfortable room above a local pub. Thought it would be noisy, but surprisingly not. Very centrally located and short walk from the station and to the Minster/old city etc.

only stayed one night, friendly attentive staff, 15 minute walk to the centre for the shopping, restaurant and bar areas. We will certainly be booking again soon but next time for a 3 day break

Very friendly hosts, family room was very good and spacious for 2 adults and 2 children. Breakfast was amazing and set us all up for a day at York maze. Would highly recommend and the location was quite good to. Onsite parking at the back was really good 👍

Fantastic accommodation in a perfect location. Fran & Jamie are most welcoming and attentive to all needs. Our room was spotlessly clean & tastefully furnished. There were two mince pies left in our room for us on arrival, a lovely festive gesture. Breakfast was delicious, absolutely anything you could ask for, along with freshly baked bread of which the aroma filled the Hotel first thing in the morning. Position is ideal. Nice and quiet and a perfect vacation.

If you're after a comfortable stay in a clean hotel close to York town centre, this could be for you. We stopped overnight and had a very pleasant stay, in clean accomodation. The only slight disappointment was breakfast wasn't available. No big deal though and probably a result of Omicron. Recommended

A very traditional bed and breakfast guest house. The room was excellent with probably the best hotel bed for comfort I have ever stayed in. It was immaculately clean. The breakfast was a very traditional English breakfast; cooked and served promptly with care and attention to detail. Extra toast and orange juice offered without prompting.
