Hotel is quite nice. Decent rooms. Nice bathroom and amenities. But don’t be fooled this is a solid 20-25 min walk into the city area. It’s also in a real dead zone. Nothing great around the area. Cabs are about $15 USD each way so probably worth spending a bit more and not having to cab it. Especially if staying in cold/rainy weather. Not a safe walk either. Would not recommend for solo female travellers.

Professional hotel. Great staff at all hours. Best thing is down the street to the right about 550 meters is Pizzeria Jari - real deal! Only hotel flaw is quirky shower curtains...

We got the room right away, early in the morning. This was great given our long air travel. Room was smallish, but well designed and convinient. The bathroom was excellent.

This hotel was great, but it wasn't terribly close to anything. It was at least a 20 minute walk to any restaraunts and shopping. The staff was fantastic. I thought breakfast was included in the rate, but it wasn't - the waiter checked and he actually included it for me! Great customer service, comfortable beds, very clean and amazing water pressure!

The staff was excellent. Marco , Luca and Dario were very helpful and made the trip to Bologna Memorable. I will always stay at AC Hotel Marriott in Bologna and will tell everyone I know.

We checked in and had to leave because the room had no AC it was boiling hot. We asked porter to fix it and his solution and the front desk was to place it on heater and just let the fan air blow. Then our window popped open on its own as it was broken and across the street there was a refugee tent city with walls covered with very angry graffiti messages. We travel all over the world and live in a large city. Graffiti doesn’t typically scare me. We felt so creeped out we left and booked another hotel for the night.

Not bad, but unlikely to return
While on the whole there was nothing terrible about this stay, being our only stay at a Marriott hotel on our 20day tour of Europe I was really disappointed with the tired condition and relatively poor cleanliness compared to the Accor and NH hotels we stayed out, especially being our second most expensive hotel. The service wasn't bad but nothing special either. Just a little bit disappointing

I had a receipt from Expedia saying I had a deposit paid and would only pay the taxes and surcharges. However, I had to repay the bill. I was told it was only a hold charge any my credit card was never charged. Since I am traveling I cannot check my credit card statement from snatch when I-booked this hotel. If this is true, Expedia needs to do a better job of explaining transactions when booking.

Not staying here again.
For a large hotel to arrive shortly after 10PM and to not be able to have something to eat is really poor. Very noisy air con in the room also lots of noise shouting and things being thrown around in the street outside. Awful bar slow service warm bottled beer. Breakfast less good than other hotels in the same price range, no fresh eggs just rock hard boiled eggs.

The property is clean, tidy and beautifully decorated. My room was a bit small and compact for a King room but overall I have no complaints as everything is very clean and organised. My room was cleaned daily and it was done very well. The staff are wonderful, Martin and Irene especially were just brilliant. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I used to stay at the AC in Madrid. This hotel is not at the same level than Madrid. Quite disappointed. Th TV was not working. There was nobody to fix it. The breakfast was reasonable but it could be better. I doubt I will return to the AC Bologna.

Good 4star hotel friendly and helpful staff pleasant surroundings, although surrounded by shabby open space outside of the hotel less interesting and at least 20 to 30 minutes walk.
