Lovely setting, peaceful, quiet, a nice break.

Communication in the build up and during check in was fantastic. The pictures represented the property, the bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen well equipped and the property was spotless. However, we had a problem 1 evening and needed to reach the host, the only way to try to contact was through various automated channels and we never heard back from anyone despite including a video of the problem.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious athough it was located at the back of the Inn across a beer barrel storage area. The Welsh Breakfast was excellent. The car park was very convenient, as was the situation of the Black Boy.

The Ring Pub & Hotel is set in a very quiet rural location. There is beautiful countryside surrounding it. There is a small caravan park to the rear of the pub. There is ample parking. The pub itself is a character building which has been recently renovated. There is a nice bar area and a side area which I presume normally would be a restaurant and is where breakfast is served. We (2 couples) stayed in Ty'n Rhos Country House for the Easter weekend and decided to also stay for dinner 2 out of 3 nights. We were amazed by the comfort, service, and quality. The location was great, an easy drive to the nearby castles, Snowdon railway, and other historical sites. We took the train from London to Bangor and hired a car there. My husband booked 3 nights here as a birthday treat - and it exceeded my expectations. Both our bedroom and the public spaces were lovely, the food was excellent and the service was exceptional. We will definitely be back!!

Great rural location, everything you need in your room has been thought of including fresh milk in a small fridge. You order your breakfast the night before and breakfast times are very convenient

The staff were very welcoming & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean, tidy & light. Plenty of tea, coffee, bottled water & biscuits, which were replenish daily. Great base for walking the Llanberis path up Snowden. The hosts were extremely welcoming, warm, and knowledgable about the local area. A selection of teas and coffee are available in the lounge area which felt much needed after the climb! Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was lovely. Would definitely recommend :)
