"Beautiful room with period features, extremely comfortable bed. The food in the restaurant is excellent, we had breakfast and an evening meal. It just so happened that it was open mic night and it created a great atmosphere in the bistro bar. Would definitely recommend."

"The hotel is in an ideal position at the edge of the village. It has ample parking. The rooms are well maintained although the single room is small. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast has a good variety and caters for most diets. The bar area was comfortable and clean and although prices were on the high side there was a good selection of quality drinks. I would recommend this hotel and will probably stay there again"

"We were surprised to find that guests have to pay an additional fee for parking. The building is quite old, so the ventilation wasn’t great and the room felt quite stuffy. Even though it was already the end of August, the room still felt quite warm and poorly ventilated. At night, there was also quite a lot of noise coming from the hotel kitchen downstairs, which was quite disturbing. Apart from these points, the staff were all very nice and friendly."
