"Forget a bicycle made for two, Munnings is an Air b and B made for you. Situated in the historic village of Mendham with plenty of off road parking, the Lodge is a gem. Tracey and Paul were warm, welcoming and helpful hosts ( in spite of the fact they had not received my booking from VRBO!!) The area has plenty of historic towns and villages, ideal for sightseeing and walking. And by the way, the Lodge and is two minutes walk from a pub serving excellent food."

When is the best time to book a Bed and Breakfast in Blythburgh?
The best time to book a B&B in Blythburgh is during the late spring to early summer months, particularly from May to June. This period attracts visitors keen on enjoying the stunning coastal scenery and exploring the nearby nature reserves. As temperatures rise to comfortable levels, typically in the low to mid-20s Celsius, outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, and birdwatching become highly enjoyable.

May is especially lovely, as the landscape bursts into life with vibrant wildflowers and lush greenery, creating a picturesque setting for all outdoor adventures. The iconic Blythburgh Church, also known as the 'Cathedral of the Marshes,' is a delightful sight, and the tranquil River Blyth provides a superb backdrop for leisurely strolls.

For those seeking a more budget-conscious option, visiting in November can be rewarding. While the weather may be cooler, this time of year offers a quieter experience, allowing you to explore the area's natural beauty and historic sites without the summer crowds. Plus, the autumn colours can provide a unique charm to the landscape.
