The apartment enjoys a central location in the lovely quaint coastal town of Southwold. A very comfortable, spacious flat with plenty of shops and places to eat on your doorstep. The bedrooms are on a slightly lower level to the living room and kitchen area and would benefit from some sort of coloured strip to draw your attention to this as the flooring is all one uniform colour. An accident waiting to happen! Otherwise a really nice place to stay.

A very comfortable stay at the Teepee, we had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The shower worked well but the tray & trim needs some attention. It's a great location for the high street and beach.

fabulous . I was a bit worried as Copperbeech is on the A12 but the room is triple glazed and has a portable air con unit. Super comfy bed lovely fluffy towels with many extras - the little touches that elevate the stay. The local pub dos not serve food Tuesday and Wednesday but the menu looks good.

Was disappointed that the room was in the courtyard and not part of the main building, but it was convenient as it was near the car park and easy to access with our cases etc. We had a superior room which had a king size bed, fridge with fresh milk and bottled water. Handy for your own drink (wine etc.). The carpet and paintwork was not very clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and the food was excellent.

Really comfortable and spotlessly clean. Helpful and accommodating staff.
We used to come here when it was a pub- full of locals and guests and big roaring fire- created a great ambience which is slightly lacking now. Little cold without the log burner lit- an easy fix.

I've stayed here approx 6 or 7 times over the last year, its always a 5 star experience. Its a beautiful place set back from a road (not a busy road). Its always exceptionally clean and tidy. Staff are always so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The full English breakfast is fantastic, always hot. I always try and stay here when I'm up visiting family and hope to stay again in Feb 2024.

This was an outstanding stopover for a couple of nights. A most welcoming hostess, overseeing our visit throughout. The room, although not large, was clean and well maintained, and like the rest of the property spick and span. Breakfast was outrageously generous, both in size and content. The location is very quiet and highly suited to visiting local attractions, being only 5 mins drive from Aldeburgh and 10 mins from Snape, with car parking well provided on site. Thoroughly recommended.

We recently stayed for two nights at The Cliffe Hotel in Lowestoft and were very pleased with our experience. The room, breakfast area, and communal spaces were all spotless and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was particularly spacious, clean, and tidy. Breakfast was cooked to order and of a high standard, with a good variety of options including cereal, porridge, and a hearty Full English. The service throughout was excellent, everyone we...

The best area to stay in Southwold is in the town centre or along the seafront, offering convenient access to all the town's amenities and attractions.
The town centre is Southwold's main hub, centred around the High Street and Market Place. Here you'll find a range of independent shops, eateries, and historic buildings. It's very walkable, with the iconic lighthouse standing prominently as a landmark, and it's just a short stroll from the beach and pier.
Couples looking for a relaxing coastal break will find the town centre ideal. They can enjoy leisurely walks to the beach, explore the boutique shops, and dine at various restaurants without needing a car. The proximity to the lighthouse also offers lovely photo opportunities and scenic views.
For families, staying near the seafront is a fantastic option. This area provides direct access to Southwold Pier, with its unique amusements and eateries, and the expansive sandy beach, great for building sandcastles and enjoying traditional seaside activities.
