Great wee break.
Fabulous short break in a gorgeous area. Excellent hosts matched with super food and comfy rooms made for a lovely few days. Highly recommend and enjoy dinner if you get the chance. Will be back!

Everything about this place was fabulous. We cannot recommend highly enough. We had an evening meal at the Lands of Loyal hotel a 15 minute walk which was also very good.

The property was beautifully decorated, and the garden was so lovely. Graham and Karen were the best of hosts. They helped us plan activities, and the breakfast they served was the best we ever had. We would definitely stay there again!

Have just returned from an overnight stay that everyone should experience. The hosts Graham and Karen have created a truly tranquil guest house and I can’t stop telling everyone about my fantastic stay. On arrival Graham and Karen are greatly welcoming and friendly. Immediately you are met with a charming, bright and grand interior design with great attention to detail. The guest house is immaculately clean and tidy. Luckily the weather was in our favour and we was able to enjoy the garden. Surrounded by beautiful flower arrangements, a pond and a calming water feature all whilst sampling the tasteful local drinks that are served. We would recommend every to choose the option to dine during your stay. Supper and breakfast was very organised and both the presentation and standard of food was impeccable. Graham also is very knowledgeable on the surrounding area offering great suggestions on landmarks to visit. We stayed In ‘The Suite’ room and we hope to return again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The owners made us feel so comfortable and were so sweet with us. The room was so well decorated and the breakfast was super well cooked. We highly recommend spending some nights there to take some time off. We hope to come back one day.

From arrival to departure we couldn’t have been made more welcome, Graham and Karen are truly wonderful hosts. The house has been updated to a very high standard, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and have a homely feel. Breakfast exceeded expectations both in the items offered and quality. We very much look forward to returning in the future.

Don't hesitate - book!
From the start to the end of our stay, we had a fantastic time at Tigh Na Leigh. Graham and Karen were the perfect hosts in their beautiful property. The rooms are immaculate and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was terrific, and we enjoyed some delicious food while looking out onto the gardens. I've stayed in luxury hotels worldwide and wouldn't hesitate to return. Thanks again for an enjoyable stay.

We couldn’t have asked for anything better. From the moment we walked through the door and were greeted as if we were family, we felt at home straight away. We were in awe of the interior and the food was incredible! We felt very lucky to be there as we managed to book the last room on offer! Our wee doggy Juno was treated first class which we loved as she is very special to us. It was great to go somewhere she was welcome and fussed over ❤️ Charlotte and her mum Karen were very attentive and made us feel special. We cannot wait to come again but for longer!

Beautiful guesthouse run by Karen and Graham
We have just returned from spending 2 days in this beautiful guest house and couldn’t recommend it more highly. From the friendly welcome by Graham to our fond farewell with a promise to return, the standard of everything was excellent. All rooms are individually decorated to a very high standard and are a feast for the eyes. Our room was a double on the first floor and had a super comfy bed and a gorgeous new bathroom. The standard of food served at breakfast in the conservatory was excellent with Karen serving up both traditional and imaginative options. She is a talented cook and offers Dinner on a few nights towards the end of the wk. I could honestly say that our pan fried salmon that evening was the best I’ve tasted and would definitely encourage guests to book dinner if they get the chance. To the side, at the back of the house is a beautiful garden for guests to relax in and offers the opportunity to enjoy a well deserved G&T or beer after a day’s sightseeing or walking. We will return.

We loved our stay at Tigh Na Leigh. The building itself is an exquisitely decorated period property - each room has its own unique character and design. We were so impressed by our warm welcome from host Graham. We enjoyed drinks in the garden followed by a delicious meal with home grown produce. Breakfast was a similarly wonderful feast! We also received excellent recommendations about our onward journey, with a number of local landmarks and viewpoints we would otherwise have missed. We will definitely be back!

My wonderful stay began with the warm welcome i received at the front door,hospitable,smiling,chatty with rules explained in a friendly manner. My need to store a bulky item was dealt with no fuss and remained secure throughout as were questions and information i required answering. The tour around the lovely house and beautiful surrounding gardens was stunning and then Wow my room and ensuite simply exquisitely set up and kept that way each day by concientous staff. I really should have been paying more it was that stupendous,restful sleep in a comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing in the dining room overlooking the garden,my breakfast each day was cooked perfectly with proportions just right and a highlight was the homemade jams,compote from fruits grown in the garden. My hosts were wonderful and I felt more like a friend than a guest with how comfortable they made me feel and our chats inclusive of fellow guest in the continous easy friendly manner they possess in abundance Knowledge of the local and wider area of things to do and see was extensive and impressive . On your travels in life you only really find such places and people by chance. Truly a Home from home.

Graham and Karen hosted my parents for my Dad's 80th birthday and they could not have been more attentive. They even baked my Dad a surprise birthday cake!! My mum and dad have not stopped speaking about their trip. They said the property was immaculate, the grounds stunning, their four poster bed the best they have ever slept in, the food out of this world and the welcome second to none. If I could heap more praise on, I would. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! If you are thinking of booking this place as a special treat do not hesitate.

Do not a chance to stay at this beautiful house
This is an incredible place to stay, and we regret not booking more than one day here. The house is beautiful, clean, modern yet classic, with excellent attentive service. Do not miss breakfast! Tigh na Leigh had the best breakfast of all the hotels and B&B's we stayed in Scotland, by far. It was wonderful and I will definitely come back and stay here the next time I'm in Scotland.

Faultless experience will visit again.
I could not fault the property or the owners. I booked very late and they couldn’t do enough for me. I normally pick a big hotel chain but this guest house will be my go to place when I am working in the area again. The couple that own the guest house are fantastic.
